2017 – Starting with Kindness
White Scribbles began with one simple idea: that small acts of kindness could make a big difference. Through giveaways on social media, we created joyful moments with no strings attached, funded by ourselves, fuelled by passion. Slowly, a community began to grow. Not just an audience, but a space where people felt valued and connected.
2018 – 2020 – Building Trust and Community
As the community expanded, so did the stories behind the giveaways. We started to uncover powerful real-life stories that reminded us just how deeply support, connection, and kindness are needed. These weren’t just one-off messages; they were reflections of something bigger. We began sharing real stories, reflections, and creative content that brought people together in conversation. This was the moment our purpose deepened, moving from light-hearted connection to intentional community-building.
2021 – 2023 – Evolving with Purpose
With a clearer sense of direction, we began shaping a team grounded in both lived experience and professional knowledge. We drew from backgrounds in mental health, coaching, advocacy, education, and support services. Our work became more structured, more sustainable, and more intentional, rooted in the belief that with the right support, people can navigate hardship and move forward with confidence.
2024 – Grounding Our Mission
This was the year we brought it all together. We organised our work into five clear pillars: Support, Growth, Well-being, Sustainability, and Discovery, and expanded our outreach across the West Midlands. Everything we offered, from community engagement to one-to-one support, was delivered in a way that was honest, inclusive, and grounded in everyday reality. No labels. No pressure. Just people helping people.
2025 – Becoming a CIC
Recognising the impact and the growing need, we registered Green Scribbles CIC. Becoming a community interest company formalised what we had always stood for: supporting people through life’s messy, unpredictable moments, and helping turn them into something meaningful. We continue to evolve with the communities we serve, building partnerships, amplifying unheard voices, and putting empathy into action.
